EDTECH LABS, INC. PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the data entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy describes how EdTech Labs, Inc. ("Company") collects, uses, secures, and deletes data relating to users of the Savona platform ("Services").

2. DATA COLLECTION

We collect and process the following types of data:

  • Account Information: Names, email addresses, and authentication credentials required to provision access for Users (including Administrative Users and End Users).
  • Customer Data: Text, media, and other materials uploaded by Customer for processing.
  • Usage Data: Telemetry regarding how users interact with the platform (e.g., features used, session duration).

3. DATA USAGE & AI IMPROVEMENT

Company uses Customer Data to provide, maintain, and secure the Services. Consistent with our commitment to innovation, Customer grants Company the right to use de-identified or aggregated Customer Data and Output for R&D purposes, including to:

  • Analyze Usage Patterns: To understand how the Services are used and optimize performance.
  • Develop Future Capabilities: To test algorithms and develop new features, which may include the training or fine-tuning of future AI models.

We do not sell Customer Data to third parties.

4. DATA SECURITY

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include data encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits.

5. DATA RETENTION

Upon termination of the Agreement, Company will make Customer Data available for export for a period of thirty (30) days. Thereafter, Company will delete or anonymize such data in accordance with our standard data retention practices, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. YOUR DATA RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law — including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — with respect to your personal data. These include:

  • Right of Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data where we no longer have a legitimate basis to retain it (see Section 7 below).
  • Right to Restriction: You may request that we restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to Data Portability: You may request your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Right to Object: You may object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

7. DATA DELETION REQUESTS

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@savona.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include your name, email address associated with your account, and a description of the data you wish to have deleted.

Upon receipt of a verified request, we will:

  1. Acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
  2. Delete or anonymize your personal data from our production systems within 30 days, unless we are required by law or legitimate business interest to retain it.
  3. Send you written confirmation once deletion is complete.

Note that deletion of your data will result in termination of your access to the Services. Certain data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes even following a deletion request, as permitted by applicable law.

8. UPDATES TO POLICY

Company reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, or legal requirements. Updated policies will be published on our website. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
